Aberfeldy 21 Years Old

Over the 21 Years that this Aberfeldy single malt has been lying in cask, it has grown ever more mellow, rich, fruity and honeyed.  This has not gone unnoticed by the Angels, who have by now helped themselves to about half of what was originally in each cask. What The WSD thinks:  Cottage garden spring flowers becoming more intense all the time. Tropical fruit essence on the palate with lashes of grapefruit, mango and banana.

Aberlour 16 Years Old

Aberlour 16 is from American Oak and ex-Sherry casks. WSD's Comment:  Initial heady dark chocolate and fruit compote. Rum and raisin. Floral perfumed notes back by toffee. The sherry notes are pronounced in this expression give lots of notes of jam and fruit cake.

Aberlour Casg Annamh

Casg Annamh means "rare cask" in Gaelic. This expression is significantly influenced by the finest quality, hand-selected Oloroso Sherry Casks. Casg Annamh has been matured in three types of casks: the European oak Sherry Casks and two different types of American oak cask, resulting in a rich and intense whisky. The fruity flavours are balanced perfectly with the spicy notes of liquorice, ginger and cinnamon. This is batch 1.

Ardbeg 10 Years Old

Ardbeg 10 Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan

Corryvreckan takes its name from the famous whirlpool that lies to the north of Islay, where only the bravest souls dare to venture. Swirling aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram.

Like the whirlpool itself, Corryvreckan is not for the faint-hearted!
